Inspired by sun-drenched architecture and lush tropical landscapes, this piece transports you to a terracotta dreamscape where winding staircases and swaying palms invite quiet exploration. The coral-hued walls echo memories of Mediterranean getaways and desert hideaways, while the path draws you forward—toward the sea, the sky, or perhaps a feeling. A celebration of place, nostalgia, and the way travel becomes part of our identity.

The Artist



Uma Gokhale is a mixed media artist exploring nature, memory, and human emotion. My work blends bold color, modern minimalism, and expressive storytelling as it explores identity and the emotional layers of everyday life.

Born in the United States and spending my early childhood there, I was surrounded by a culture of individuality and self-expression. Later moving to the colorful and culturally rich landscapes of India, I absorbed its intricate patterns, vivid hues, and tropical beauty. This unique cross-cultural journey shapes my distinctive style—an uplifting fusion of bold colors, tropical motifs, and modern minimalism using a unique blend of handmade drawings & graphic art.

I am an internationally licensed artist, with designs featured in global retail and lifestyle brands including Anthropologie, Target, John Lewis, and more.
