This piece is inspired by the quiet abundance of the rainforest — the way layers of leaves overlap, conceal, and reveal one another in a living rhythm of light and shadow. Rather than depicting a literal landscape, I focused on simplified forms and tonal movement, allowing each leaf to become both a botanical shape and an abstract gesture. Soft washes of moss, jade, and eucalyptus rest against deeper forest shadows, creating a composition that feels immersive yet balanced.
The result is a work that brings a sense of vitality and calm into a space at the same time. Later moving to the colorful and culturally rich landscapes of India, I absorbed its intricate patterns, vivid hues, and tropical beauty. This unique cross-cultural journey shapes my distinctive style—an uplifting fusion of bold colors, tropical motifs, and modern minimalism using a unique blend of handmade drawings & graphic art.
