Uma Gokhale is a surface graphic designer and artist whose work blends the influences of two vibrant worlds. Born in the United States and spending her early childhood there, she was surrounded by a culture of individuality and self-expression. Later moving to the colorful and culturally rich landscapes of India, she absorbed its intricate patterns, vivid hues, and tropical beauty. This unique cross-cultural journey shapes her distinctive style—an uplifting fusion of bold colors, tropical motifs, and modern minimalism using a unique blend of handmade drawings + graphic art. Her pieces celebrate the magic in the everyday—whether through lush botanicals, whimsical scenes, or bold graphic forms. With a vibrant and expressive style, she transforms familiar subjects into joyful, immersive visuals that spark emotion and imagination.
