I love using minimal simple fonts in logo design because of their versatility. They look great with a logo mark, logo mark and also on their own as a text-only identity.
Here’s a list of my 4 simply beautiful go-to fonts for DIY logo designs that stand out. Links to download all fonts for free are at the end of the post.
Tenor Sans
Being a Google font, using this in a logo can have multiple benefits including easiness of use online. I love how this Sans Serif font has this certain elegance to its construction.
Audrey
Audrey combines together curvy geometry and straight lines creating contrasty & beautiful letters.
Vonique 64
This font is inspired by New York’s 5th Ave., the Champs-Élysées in Paris, and Oxford Street in London. Think black and white perfume ads behind glass. The smell of roasted beans trickling out of that upscale coffee shop. The ornate lamp post. You’ve got the idea! Vonique 64 is sophisticated, urban, and curvy but tries not to take itself too seriously.
Alice
This font is inspired by Lewis Carrol’s novel and was created as a typeface that will be suitable for typesetting that book. It came out eclectic and quaint, old-fashioned, having widened proportions, open apertures, and soft rounded features; perfect for both long meditative text typesetting and headlines.
