How To Engage Your Website Visitors in Your Social Media Updates

We all know the importance of staying connected with our audience via social media. People want to connect with you through these networks because that connection generates trust. If you’re like me, you have so much happening across all your networks – so many exciting things that you want your website visitors to see! But a person coming directly to your website, who is not your follower on any network has no clue about your latest updates. For him/her your site is basically information that you have already published, nothing’s live.

Earlier this month I found this great plugin for WordPress that lets me show all my social updates from a variety of networks on to a single page on my website. It’s called Flow Flow. You can see how I’m using this plugin on my ‘News’ page here and take a text drive before installing it on your own website.

Let me start by saying that I am NOT paid to promote this plugin. My recommendations are completely based on my own experience. And this plugin has significantly improved my follower count + the number of people that engage (via likes & comments) with my updates.

The plugin is available for purchase at Codecanyon for $24 and is totally worth it. It’s very easy to install and comes with a documentation. Before purchasing this plugin, I tried out a couple of free ones including Twine-Social which I loved until they started showing too many of their own flashy branding elements to advertise their service. To remove their branding, they encourage you to buy their monthly plans but it just doesn’t make sense to pay every month for feature that you can get with a one-time purchase.

The plugin comes with a range of features including the ability to choose which updates to show from the feed and a stylish light box (as in the second image above) for navigating through the posts. So go ahead and give it a try! I promise you’ll love it. For more business and blogging tips, follow me on Twitter.

P.S. The gorgeous phone case in the picture above is one of the hundreds from our latest collection now available to order via Casetify here.
