Found some really Cool Websites and Tools earlier this week, some for managing stuff and some for quality entertainment. Take a look & let me know if these are helpful to you.
A while ago I published an article that talks about how, for some of us, social networking has become an addiction. If you’re wondering whether you’re one of those people & want to check how much you’re actually hooked or know you are and want to stop, this app is for you.
This is what the app developers say –
“BreakFree is a revolutionary app that will help you maintain a controlled digital lifestyle. It monitors phone and app usage and tracks how addicted you are to your phone and apps. With visually appealing characters, graphs and stats, the app guides you on how you can control phone usage.”
A minimal Task Management App, At Your Fingertips & On The Web. Any.do helps you achieve anything by syncing your personal tasks, work projects, and shared lists across devices so you have a clear path moving forward. every day.
I use it myself and would recommend it to anyone who wants their daily tasks organized in a straight forward way.
This is basically a search engine to find images in the public domain a.k.a images okay for commercial use.
The creator of the site, Taylor explains –
“The site searches and displays results from Wikimedia Commons, an enormous repository of images and other digital resources.
Searching Wikimedia Commons instead of another site like Google Images provides a benefit for people who want to use the digital resources legally.”
This site has over 300 hand-picked addresses going back to 1774. You can search by name, school, date or theme. May of the speeches were collected from Graduation Wisdom.
Insightful AND Inspirational.
This a beautiful project management app for the modern freelancer.
“Solo manages the main pain points of freelancing, letting you work smarter.”
They offer a $16/month plan & a $160/year plan along with a 30 Day free trial.
This strange sunding tool is nothing short of AMAZING.
It’s the place to create triggers and actions like the ‘If’ loop – If ‘This’ happens then do ‘That’.
For example, “If I’m tagged in a photo on Facebook” then “Tweet on Twitter.” Or if “I create a status message on Facebook” then “send me a text message”!
Actions come from Channels. Channels are the unique services and devices you use every day like – Instagram, Blogger, Evernote, eBay, Facebook, Dropbox, Gmail, Email, SMS, Youtube, WordPress and many many more.
